We are looking for an individual who can lead and develop procurement at the School, to ensure it is a highly regarded, value adding service at the centre of decision making regarding the effective use our non-staff expenditure.

The successful applicant will have the ambition, drive and skills to influence behaviour, co-ordinate change and ensure compliance with policies.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to the role, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working with minimum supervision.

You will hold a CIPS qualification or have equivalent work experience, have proven staff management capabilities, and be used to delivering successful outcomes in a customer focused environment.

The post is full time and permanent. The salary will be on the Professional salary Grade 8 in the range £56,473 to £64,817 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service.  Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Director’s Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine
