The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) is seeking a proactive and dynamic maternity cover administrator for the role of Centres Coordinator. This role is one of two that provide crucial operational support to Centre Directors in delivering the centre strategy through engagement and income generation activities.

We are currently home to 13 Centres. These cross-faculty networks of academics collaborate and innovate to address global health challenges on topics including pandemic preparedness, vaccines, humanitarian crises, malaria, and antimicrobial resistance.

The post holder is the first point of contact for all administrative and logistical support for a portfolio of Centres. You must be a self-starter, able to work independently to see tasks through to completion and be solutions-focused. You will be responsible for day-to-day financial management of the Centres, and will also provide event support and work with Communications & Engagement department colleagues on strategic engagement activities.

You must hold a degree (or equivalent) or have equivalent experience of delivering excellence in administration for their stakeholders along with experience of working with budgets or financial information. Further particulars are included in the job description.

The post is full-time 35 hours per week, 1 FTE and available as a maternity cover until July 2025.

The salary will be on the Professional Services, Grade 4 in the range £33,111- £37,298 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London.
