Communications & Engagement

Salary:  £29,326 to £33,359 per annum, inclusive.

A Centres Administrator is required within the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine’s (LSHTM) Communications & Engagement team to be the first point of contact for all administrative and logistical support for LSHTM’s Centres. They will report to the Centres Officer and will deputise in their absence

The post holder is responsible for day-to-day financial management of the Centres, will also provide some basic event support and work with Communications & Engagement team colleagues on strategic engagement activities.

This position requires experience of working in a busy office environment including the ability to assess priorities in order to manage work load and deadlines eaffectively, indicating a high level of competency. As well as proven experience of working with budgets.

We are currently home to 13 Centres. These cross-Faculty networks of academics collaborate and innovate to address global health challenges on topics including malaria, humanitarian crises, mental health, antimicrobial resistance and vaccines.

The post is full time and permanent. The salary will be on the Professional salary scale Grade 4 in the range £29,326 - £33,359 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service.  Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Director’s Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
