Project Coordinator

Department of Infection Biology

Salary:  £34,854 to £40,011 per annum, inclusive.

We are seeking to appoint a Project Coordinator who will work on a portfolio of projects with various funders and academics across the Department of Infection Biology. The post-holder will be responsible for providing efficient administrative, logistical and financial support from set up to closure and will develop a good understanding of the funder terms and conditions for the projects providing sound advice and ensuring compliance to these and the School policies and procedures, including the Financial Regulations. 

The successful applicant will have Higher education to degree level or equivalent, or substantial relevant experience of providing proactive administrative support in Higher Education (or similar environment), also in working closely with academic staff members and providing administrative/financial support for research projects. This full-time post, based in London, is available until 31 July 2024 in the first instance. Salary is on the Professional Support Grade 5 scale in the range £34,854-£40,011 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service.  Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Director’s Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available.
