The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine is a world-leading centre for research and postgraduate education in public and global health. We have recently established our Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching are recruiting an Associate Professor in Education Development to play a key leadership role in enhancing academic practice and quality improvement. The role holder will act as the Programme Lead for the Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning (PGCILT) and will be responsible for delivering key strategic projects in LSHTM’s education strategy. 

The post holder will be a Senior Fellow of Higher Education Academy and a proven track record in delivering successful innovation and change in curriculum development and teaching and learning.

The post is full time and permanent. The salary will be on the academic salary scale, Associate Professor Grade 8, in the range £56,473-£64,817 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service.  Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Director’s Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
