An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine as a Quality Assurance Manager, playing a pivotal role in shaping and embedding quality assurance strategy for clinical trials and high-risk interventional research. Working within the Research Governance and Integrity Office, you will lead the development of robust quality systems, support regulatory compliance, and help ensure that LSHTM-sponsored research meets the highest standards of scientific integrity, participant safety and governance. 

The post holder will hold a relevant degree (or equivalent experience) and bring substantial experience in clinical trial quality assurance, audit and regulatory compliance, with expert knowledge of ICH-GCP, UK clinical trials legislation, research governance frameworks and the development and implementation of quality management systems within a regulated research environment. Further particulars are included in the job description.

The post is full-time 35 hours per week, 1.0 FTE and available on a fixed term contract for 3 years.  

The salary will be on the LSHTM  salary scale, Grade 6 in the range £45,728 - £51,872 per annum pro-rata (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service.  Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at LSHTM.
