Who we’re looking for
- An experienced Endpoint Systems Developer with technical capabilities to contribute to the lifecycle management of devices such as laptops, PCs and tablets, including the design, build and security through to end-of-life management.
- Experienced with Endpoint or device management systems and regimes.
- Familiar with devising and managing Virtual desktop solutions and technologies.
- Exposure to distributing and managing core software and applications.
- A passion for supporting users and colleagues, working collaboratively within the team, across IT Services and the school.
You should be educated to a degree-level, equivalent or other professional IT qualification. You must have experience of management of Enterprise level computing in Windows, MacOS and/or other environments along with strong interpersonal and people management skills. The post is full-time 35 hours per week, 1 FTE and permanent.
You will have the opportunity to work in the ways that most suit your work, personal situation and the needs of our School. In line with our Hybrid Working Framework, you would be expected to attend LSHTM’s buildings 8 days per month on average, being flexible to the demands within IT Services.
This post is based in London. You will be based in our Keppel Street building, which provides a high-quality, flexible and sustainable working space for our staff.
The salary will be on the Professional Services salary scale, Grade 6 in the range £44,847 - £50,808 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part-time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days” (plus UK public holidays). Membership of the Pension Scheme is available.
