The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) is one of the world’s leading public health universities. We are looking to recruit a Talent Development Advisor to join our Talent Development team. 

In this role you will be providing operational support and expertise to defining and delivering the talent development priorities across LSHTM’s People and Culture Strategy, with a particular focus on researcher development. You will be instrumental in developing effective learning and career development solutions and wellbeing support for early career researchers and research degree students and will work closely with the wider Talent Development team the Strategic Research Office, the Research Governance and EDI teams to achieve this.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a learning/teaching/training or education environment, will possess strong project management skills and demonstrable digital capabilities. You should be a confident and skilled communicator and be passionate about driving cultural change. The ability to use data to support evidence-based decision making and experience of working in a fast-paced higher education environment will be an advantage. The post is part-time 21 hours per week, 0.6 FTE and permanent. 

The salary will be on the Professional Services salary scale, Grade 5 in the range £38,282 - £43,947 per annum pro-rata (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service.  Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at LSHTM.
