          <title><![CDATA[Project Manager (0.6 FTE) (EPH-EPIH-2026-15)]]></title>

            <p id="isPasted">The London School of Hygiene &amp; Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) is one of the world&rsquo;s leading public health universities. Our mission is to improve health and health equity in the UK and worldwide; working in partnership to achieve excellence in public and global health research, education and translation of knowledge into policy and practice.</p><p>We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to work in the Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology. The postholder will have overall administrative and financial responsibility for a series of vaccine research grants, based primarily across the UK and Kenya, including the Health Protection Research Unit in Immunisation.</p><p>The postholder will work closely with the PI and senior staff to: manage contractual and budgetary relationships with funders and collaborators; provide expert project management; develop project materials for external communication; prepare technical progress reports with the support of academic staff; advise the PI in the management of staff resources; provide oversight of patient and public involvement and engagement (PPIE); and organise and facilitate team meetings.</p><p>The postholder must be familiar with funding terms and conditions of a range of funders, including: the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) and the Bill &amp; Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF). Additionally, they should have an academic background in public health and/or research experience. Higher education to degree level or equivalent relevant experience is essential.</p><p>The post is part-time 21 hours per week, 0.6 FTE and fixed term until 31 March 2030. The post is funded by the NIHR and BMGF and is available from 01 November 2026.</p><p>The salary will be on the LSHTM salary scale, Grade 6 in the range &pound;45,728 - &pound;51,872 per annum pro rata (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary &ldquo;Wellbeing Days&rdquo;. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. Our mission is to improve health and health equity in the UK and worldwide; working in partnership to achieve excellence in public and global health research, education and translation of knowledge into policy and practice.</p><p>We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Administrator to provide high-quality administrative, operational, financial, and logistical support across a portfolio of UK and International research projects and programmes within the Newborn Health &amp; Child Development team. You will be a member of the department administration team and will report to the Project Manager.</p><p>You will support financial administration, oversee small budgets, and organise travel, meetings, and events across the group. The postholder will also maintain the group&#39;s communication platforms and profiles.</p><p>You will have proven experience of managing high volume administrative activities, strong numeracy and organisational skills, excellent time management and prioritisation abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. In return, you will have the opportunity to develop your administrative and project management skills. Higher education to degree level or equivalent relevant experience is essential. The post is funded by a consortium of funders, including the NIHR and CRI Foundation, and is available immediately.</p><p>The salary will be on the LSHTM salary scale, Grade 4 in the range &pound;34,741 - &pound;38,986 per annum pro rata (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff.
