Receptionist X2


Salary:  £25,261 to £28,614 per annum, inclusive.

The School is looking for two enthusiastic and proactive Receptionists to help provide a first class customer service. As part of a busy team, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors. 

The role holders will cover a variety of reception duties including operating a switchboard, assistance with the smooth running of the reception office, sorting of post, clerical duties and answering enquiries from students, staff and members of the public. A flexible 'will do, can do' attitude to work is essential.

The post holder will have excellent interpersonal skills, proven experience of administrative work, telephony skills and an ability to communicate with individuals at all levels. Previous experience of working as a Receptionist within a university environment would be desirable although not essential.

We have one full time position (1 FTE) and a part-time position for two days per week (0.4 FTE). The salary will be on the Professional Support Pathway Grade 3 scale in the range £25,261 to £28,614 per annum pro rata (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service.  Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Director’s Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine
