This is a great opportunity to be at the centre of system improvement, helping to shape and enhance the systems that underpin the organisation&rsquo;s operations.</p><p>You will take ownership of finance system support, acting as a key point of contact for users across LSHTM. From triaging issues to leading resolutions, you will deliver a responsive, high-quality support service while driving continuous improvement.</p><p>As the primary system administrator, you will manage user access, maintain system configurations and master data, and ensure workflows run smoothly and efficiently through approval processes. Your work will directly support strong data governance, streamlined processes, and the effective day-to-day running of critical finance systems.</p><p>We are looking for a candidate with strong experience in first-line IT service delivery, ideally within a higher education environment. You should hold relevant professional qualifications or equivalent experience. You will be comfortable working in a structured setting and able to follow and apply technical documentation with accuracy and confidence.</p><p>You will be proactive and well organised, able to manage your own workload and meet deadlines aligned to system and user needs. The role holder will work as part of the wider Student Support Services team in providing both reactive and proactive support to students.</p><p>The Mental Health Advisers main focus is in responding to the mental health and wellbeing needs of School-based students including those with a diagnosed mental health condition.</p><p>This role involves contact with students and applicants, case working individual support, making recommendations for academic adjustments and in assisting students with access to NHS and specialist support services as well as triaging and making referrals to other LSHTM staff as necessary.</p><p>You should be Educated to a degree level or equivalent (qualified by experience) and a professional qualification in a relevant clinical or healthcare discipline (e.g. Nursing, Social Work, Counselling/Psychotherapy, Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy etc.). You should also hold experience in crisis intervention/responding to mental health crises and experience, or knowledge of the issues of working in a Higher Education context. This role comprises a walk-up desk, a telephone service and our online self-service portal.</p><p>You will take part in maintaining, supporting, and developing the IT services that support the research and teaching in the school. The MRL offers both a confirmatory and surveillance service for cases of imported malaria into the UK. They will support the Principal Biomedical Scientist with maintaining the UKHSA MRL database and compiling data for audit, case investigations and reports to other organisations, plus other administrative duties, as required.&nbsp;</p><p>The successful candidate will have a background of accurate clinical data entry abilities, solid communication skills and an excellent customer care focus. &nbsp;The successful candidate will possess effective organisational and time management skills and show attention to detail and a systematic approach to their work.
