Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology and the Centre for the Mathematical Modelling of Infectious Diseases (CMMID)

We are looking for a mathematical modeller to investigate the spread of influenza in South East Asia. The post-holder will utilize data collected by members of CMMID on contemporary contact patterns, and be expected to analyse these data to help parameterise mathematical models. The successful candidate will have scope to develop his/her own research within this theme and will join a lively and friendly team looking into the spread of flu and other infections. The post is funded until 31 January 2013 in the first instance.

The appointment will commence in September 2012 and is funded until 31 January 2013 in the first instance. The appointment will be made on LSHTM’s Academic Pathway scale at Grade 6 (£35,661 – £40,499 per annum inclusive).
